Christmas time is among
us and I as I look back at the year 2013 I feel blessed. This was a year of new
beginnings. In February, Jacob and I welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the
world. In May, we bought our first home. In the fall, I worked to rename and
brand my business with intentions of leaping forward with my passion.
A business that began as
more of an experiment is catching the interest of more brides and leaving me to
feel thankful with each new client and opportunity. While I have always had
aspirations to become a business owner, I never expected that I could succeed
combining that goal with my admiration of vintage things. And yet, here I am; starting
to feel more confident that this venture can succeed. This “great idea” became
more than that after marrying my best friend. I celebrated the most important
day of my life. I celebrated a new beginning with a man who accepts me and loves
me to no end. I celebrated with family and friends, vowing to love this man for
my entire life. I celebrated and I realized that THIS day, my wedding day, was
magical. Every bride deserves a magical celebration on the day that she walks
down the aisle and vows to love another for the rest of her life. She deserves every detail to be stunning. And that's where I step in- to create gorgeous details.
Rusted Rose Vintage
Rentals -this business I founded lights my heart on fire. I love bringing mismatched
treasures together and creating cohesive tablescapes for a delectable wedding
dinner to be enjoyed. The events of 2013 came to a close in early November and
the 2014 weddings ahead already have me feeling anxious. I anticipate the new
relationships and experiences that will form over the year ahead.
